ThanksgivingFall is in the air and this Thanksgiving Card reflects the colors of fall.

Today’s card pulls together several stamp sets to create the elements I wanted on the card.  The wreath is from a spring set re-purposed for fall.  I did not have a Thanksgiving stamp set as such so I used just the word “Grateful” from A Little Something stamp set and “Happy Thanksgiving” from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  The little leaves are also from A Little Something and the bow is from the same set as the wreath (Circle of Spring).  The leaves of course are from Vintage Leaves.

I also used a variety of inking techniques for this card.  The wreath is colored with markers and an Aqua Painter.  The leaves are a combination of rock n’ roll and over-stamping techniques.  The hardwood image is inked with Crumb Cake and “thumped” with Tip Top Taupe.  I used a Basic Black marker to ink just the “Grateful” portion of the image.

If you have questions about how to do any of these techniques, send me an email or leave a comment.
