Basics of Stamping CollageToday I am beginning a series of FREE tutorials on Stamping Basics.  If you are a beginning stamper or would like to stamp, but don’t know where to start, this is for you.  It is fun and exciting to start a new hobby.  It is also rewarding to see the results and especially to share your creations with others.  I guarantee, you will be hooked the first time someone “oohs and aahs” or is “wowed” by one of your creations.

I believe we all need hobbies.  Maybe it relieves the stress of the day or provides a little quiet “me” time.  Maybe it is the act of creating that stimulates us.  Maybe it means getting together with friends to enjoy a chat along with your crafting.  Whatever it means to you, now is the time to start.  I find it is always more fun to craft with friends.  Ask a friend to join you in this journey.

First things first – what do you need to start stamping.  Whether you want to make cards or scrapbook, you need some Basic Stamping Tools.  Click on the link to find the .pdf with a short list of some pretty basic tools you will need to get started.

Each Friday over the next several weeks I will be publishing a new tutorial covering information about paper, ink, how to stamp, storage ideas, how to cut paper, and more.
