The Color Challenge is a littPinwheel & Butterflyle late getting posted.  Here is a new color combination for you to try.Color Challenge

I want to point out a couple of features on this card.  The colors, of course, are from Stampin’ Up!s  Brights Collection:  Rich Razzleberry (#115316), Tempting Turquise (#102067), and Pumpkin Pie (#105117) – chosen right from the Color Coach.  The Designer Series Paper on the bottom half of the card is from Summer Smooches(#125409).  I created my own little pinwheel, but Stampin’ Up! has an easy to use Sizzlit Die to make a cute little pinwheel (#129411).  There are also a few punch shapes used on this card:
2 3/8″ Circle punch (#118874), 1 3/4″ Circle punch (#119854) and the new Bitty Butterfly (#129406).

Look closely at the Tempting Turquoise cardstock on the top half of the card.  How did I do that?  –  The brayer (#102395) and bubble wrap.  I took a small piece of bubble wrap and brayered over it with Tempting Turquoise classic ink (#126952) and then laid the inked bubble wrap on the Tempting Turquoise cardstock and gently rubbed across the back of the bubble wrap.  Now the card has a fun design on the Tempting Turquoise layer.  I repeated the technique on a little of the Pumpkin Pie cardstock so my butterflys are polka-dotted also.

Pinwheel & Butterly insideHere is the inside of the card.  Remember to carry your theme to the inside of the card and onto the envelope.  You get a very coordinated look!

I hope you enjoy this card and the Color Challenge every Friday.  I have more tips on how to use the brayer in March Paper Crafts Obsession newsletter.  Sign Up Now and you to can receive the newsletter next week.
